The Fiddle Festival

HEYYYY!!!  I just went to the Fiddle and Banjo Festival with a good friend of mine. While we were there we enjoyed great music and some of the most awesome merchandise ever!!!! We found lots of amazing items made from reused or vintage materials. I was able to get a great placemat that doubles as a cute mat for my desk.  I also ought a handmade crafty-looking vinting material bag. I love hand made stuff!!!! As it was a music festival, there were a ton of placs to get guitars, mandalins, banjos, and fiddles. With the added bounus of great barbeque, i think that it was a great use of a sunday.

Chill On Fridays

Chill on Fridays is a big new fad for students at Walter Reed Middle School. On Fridays, it is popular to get with a group of your friends and walk across the street to the  frozen yogurt and crape restaurant, Chill. Chill is safe for all the kids who go and is a great place for those who love to hang out with their friends. The crapes are great and Chill has lots of self serve frozen yogurt to choose from! The place is packed with kids so you have to get there quick! Chill also serves smoothies, coffee, tea, soda, etc. Just go there once and you will get why its so popular! :) On thursdays the big question is usually, " Hey, are you going to Chill on Friday? " Well, I know I am ;) If You go to Chill on friday leave a message or just post a comment! Bye for now! :)

The GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE GAME!!!!! The game is  a new trend and fad that has been around for a long time. It is starting to become extremely popular again. At lunch, my friends seem to think that the most hilarious thing to do is to say "I LOST THE GAME."  You see, the way you play the game is to not think about it. So, every one in the vicinity then looses the game. I find it annoying beyond measure, but also funny and awesome. It is basically a tradition that a certain member of the just formed band, Game Over, says this to the group of 40 kids who all sit in a big clump at my school. Well, I just lost the game. Bye peepols!!!! ( a new way to say peoples :)

Something Awesome

As awesome things go, they often change. This means that they have a lot to do with fads and trends. A common trend and fad is Harry Potter. It is a world wide phenomenon and extremely popular with my friends and me. We all love being certain characters, reading the books, and of course being awesome yet absolutely crazy. In Harry Potter, that would be referred to as mental. A friend of mine is actually british, so I will ask her if people do say "mental" in England/Britain.  I don't know. Any way, leave comments about your fav. characters and such!!!!

New Years

Sorry that I haven't posted in a while but, HAPPY BELATED NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!! New years mean new colds, and a lot of my friends have gotten the flu or a head cold lately. I was just thinking, how all my friends are taking medicine when actually, one of the best cold remedies is tea. Yes, once again tea comes to the rescue. This time, chamomile tea with lemon and honey. You mix the honey and the lemon with the boiling hot tea and together, they some how make the best sore throat cure and it helps to makes your head cold better. I think it is because the heat opens up your sinuses and the honey soothes your throat. I hope that if you have a cold, this helps!

Earl Gray- as seen on the tea page :)

Of all the drinks in the world, my favorite would have to be a cup of earl gray tea with milk (and maybe some sugar, too.)It's calming, warm, and reminds me to just stop rushing about worrying about every little thing. I also think that it tastes great! :) In my opinion the best way to prepare a cup of earl gray is the following:  Boil water in a kettle and take out a cute cup or mug that you love. Meanwhile, take out some earl gray tea. Pour the water into a teapot and steep for two minutes. After the tea has steeped, remove the tea if it is in a bag. Pour milk into a cup and then pour the tea into the cup next. Simply stir and enjoy!
( If you like sugar with your tea the add it with the milk so the hot tea dissolves thoroughly.)
